‘The Big One’ is a Dinner & Dance ran by a committee under Southend Estuary District Scouts.
Every year, we run a Dinner & Dance for the leaders (past & present) of the Southend Estuary district, allowing them to get together and let their hair down, without the prying eyes of youth members being present.
On very special occasions, this event is moved to the Cliffs Pavilion and opened up to all adults within Essex Scouts. In the past, we held one in 2007 to celebrate 100 Years of Scouting, and in 2011, where we celebrated the 10th of Scout Network. The next one is due in 2019, where it will be 100 years since Essex Scouts was officially formed, so why not come along and celebrate with us.
